Vela de la Tierra, meaning “land” in Spanish, is inspired by days spent outdoors in New Mexico where sagebrush stretches toward the horizon, juniper berries warm in the sun and the high desert air carries a grounding, resinous aroma. This thoughtful blend of sage, cedarwood, juniper and vetiver evokes the rich character of the region’s flora and creates a calming, earthy scent that feels deeply connected to place. How to use

Place the candle on a heat safe surface and light the wick to release its warm, earthy aroma. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface before extinguishing to maintain a clean and consistent burn.

Expert tip: Limit burn time to four hours and keep the wick trimmed to one eighth of an inch to extend the life of your candle.

This simple, non toxic formula highlights aroma without additives and reflects our commitment to clean ingredients and a true sense of place.

What started as small-scale salve, soap and lotion making to serve guests as room amenities at our historic Inn, has grown to include a robust line of products inspired by the Los Poblanos fields, guest rooms and kitchen. Our organic lavender essential oil is still distilled onsite at the farm and this historic agricultural land continues to be a source for ingredients and inspiration.
