How it's made

For over two decades, we have grown and harvested organic lavender for its essential oil, extracted through traditional steam distillation in alembic copper stills, just steps away from the fields.

Steam distillation is an ancient method for extracting essential oils that protects the integrity of delicate botanicals. As the steam passes through the freshly harvested lavender, it carries the essential oil vapors into a condenser where they cool and separate naturally. The result is a pure essential oil and a lightly scented hydrosol, each capturing the character of the plant at its peak.

We harvest the lavender by hand each summer and extract the essential oil through a traditional steam distillation process right on the farm, ensuring absolute purity.
