About this product

Originally developed for our inn, this Lavender Shampoo quickly became a guest favorite. Its gentle formula was created with thoughtfully selected ingredients and scented with lavender essential oil distilled on the farm from the lavender we grow onsite. As you lather, the calming aroma offers a soothing moment reminiscent of the fields and gardens around Los Poblanos. The shampoo cleanses without stripping and leaves hair feeling refreshed, hydrated and lightly scented. For best results, pair it with our Lavender Conditioner.

How to use

Wet hair thoroughly and apply a small amount to the scalp. Massage into a rich lather and extend through the ends before rinsing well. Follow with Lavender Conditioner to hydrate and balance the scalp.

How it's made

This shampoo is crafted in small batches with a blend of gentle cleansers, hydrating oils and soothing lavender essential oils. The formula was designed to work well for all hair types while maintaining a soft, balanced feel. Each batch includes lavender essential oil distilled on the farm from our organically grown Grosso lavender, reflecting our grounded approach to simple, thoughtful care.

What started as small-scale salve, soap and lotion making to serve guests as room amenities at our historic Inn, has grown to include a robust line of products inspired by the Los Poblanos fields, guest rooms and kitchen. Our organic lavender essential oil is still distilled onsite at the farm and this historic agricultural land continues to be a source for ingredients and inspiration.

We harvest the lavender by hand each summer and extract the essential oil through a traditional steam distillation process right on the farm, ensuring absolute purity.

Our artisan product line started with Los Poblanos owner and founder, Penny Rembe, who developed our signature Lavender Salve recipe over her kitchen stove after the the first lavender harvests.
