About this product

Bring the scent of the high desert forests of New Mexico into your home with Vela de Arboles. This aromatic blend features fresh cedarwood, fir and pine needle balanced with earthy patchouli, bright citrus and subtle notes of Grosso lavender. Created to capture a true sense of place, the fragrance is inspired by the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the historic hallways of La Quinta and the blooming lavender fields of Los Poblanos. Light it to enjoy a grounding, woodsy aroma that floats gently through your space and evokes the peaceful landscape of the Southwest.

How to use

Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface and light the wick. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface before extinguishing to ensure a clean and even burn.

Expert tip: Limit burn time to four hours and keep the wick trimmed to one eighth of an inch to extend the life of your candle.

How it's made

Our candles are hand poured in small batches using natural soy wax and a blend of pure essential oils. We choose soy wax for its clean, even burn that releases fragrance slowly and softly throughout your space. Essential oils offer a non-toxic alternative to synthetic fragrances and bring an authentic depth that is closely tied to the landscapes, botanicals and sense of place that inspire our work at Los Poblanos. Each fragrance blend is crafted with intention, reflecting the character and atmosphere of New Mexico.

What started as small-scale salve, soap and lotion making to serve guests as room amenities at our historic Inn, has grown to include a robust line of products inspired by the Los Poblanos fields, guest rooms and kitchen. Our organic lavender essential oil is still distilled onsite at the farm and this historic agricultural land continues to be a source for ingredients and inspiration.
