In collaboration with Nicky Ovitt, a local community member, distinguished artist and friend, Los Poblanos is delighted to present the signature Los Poblanos pañuelo (handkerchief in Spanish). Our humble little farm here amongst 25 acres in the Rio Grande Valley boasts a captivating history of artworks from renowned artists over the years and we tried to capture a few recognizable pieces and some hidden gems on this whimsical square of wearable art.
From original door handles by ironsmith Walter Gilbert, to wood carvings by Gustav Baumann, architectural gems like the beautiful fountain centering the John Gaw Meem Hacienda Spa courtyard to punched tinwork in La Quinta by Robert Woodman, the colorful carved doors as you enter the dining room at Campo, original property silo signage and even a few flowering buds of lavender that anchor our dedication to sustainability, authenticity, preservation and community, it’s all thoughtfully represented here on our very own bandana and matching canvas tote.
