Silver Squash Blossom Pendant Braided Cord
This hand-forged Squash Blossom is created by Santa Fe silversmith Dennis Hogan using traditional techniques. The squash blossom symbol is oft-repeated in Native American and Southwestern culture, and has been said to represent many different things to different artisans, but historians agree that the image of the squash blossom is likely to have originated with the pomegranate blossom often represented by the Spanish conquistadors on their horse bridle.
