Beautiful, #8 turquoise stones are surrounded with hand-forged sterling silver bezels, and finished with a half moon silver work design. The similarity of the matching matrix in the two stones is a rarity in turquoise earrings. The #8 turquoise is known for its caramel matrix and a color closest to the New Mexico sky; increasingly rare as the mine has been depleted for over 40 years.
Tommy Jackson is a Navajo silversmith who learned the art from his mother and father, Martha and Gene Jackson. He has won numerous awards for his beautiful and unique jewelry from the Heard Museum Show in Phoenix, Santa Fe Indian Market and The Museum of Northern Arizona.
