This traditional squash blossom necklace consists of handmade sterling silver beads that alternate with silver blossoms and converge at a prominent, hand-forged naja pendant. Although there is a resemblance to the flowers of the squash plant, the blossom is more closely related to the pomegranate, which flourishes in southern Spain. The naja with the healing hands has a long history as a powerful symbol of protection. This spectacular piece has a satin finish that gives it an antique look and a handmade hook and loop clasp.
